AWE Updates on Developments at its Assets

AWE Limited updated development at its assets in Australia and New Zealand when it made a presentation at the Good Oil Conference in Australia.
Workovers of Yolla-3 and Yolla-4 wells were finished and the wells are putting into operation on the Bass Gas project in permit T/L. The project joint venture - comprising AWE, Origin Energy and Toyota Tsusho will face with a final choice to invest 2 wells under the BassGas Mid Life Enhancement Project in the September 2013 quarter. The wells will be planned to drilling in 2014. After this has done, the gas compression and condensate pumping modules on the Yolla platform will be installed.
Plans are made to drill 2-4 wells in 2014 in the Perth Basin, which covers an area of 1,305 square mile.
The focus is to develop tight gas first, then moving to Senecio and Corybas to continue testing shales at Arrowsmith-2 for remainder of this year, the third step is to Drover-1 well in the southern hub. AWE said the available gas facility improve the work efficiency. Especially there is a great market for gas and the price is attractive in the long term. And the consumption for gas in Western Australia is considerable.
Over in New Zealand, preparations are being made to drill the Oiprospect, which is located 7.46 miles northeast of theTui field, in Petroleum Mining Permit 38158. Oil exploration well is targeted to drill in early November. Then work will be started at the Pateke-4H well in early December.
