With the developing of China's valve industry, China valves quotation changes gradually, closing to international standard.
Conventional quotation of valve is based on model. The model with JB Standard was put onto valve and manufacturers provided product according to the model. The model could not be modified when it was certain.

Besides manufacturing, supplying also caused short service life of valves. For example, designers needed a valve. The components conformed to requirements except for materials. The materials were fixed and could not be changed any more. The materials of base may cause damage, leakage or scrappage of valves. The acquisition is unacceptable in international. The purchasers only offered parameter and standards of valves which needed manufacturers to decide the valves to meet the requirements or not by themselves.

Conventional China valves quotation needs to be changed. Products cannot only accord with JB Standard. Manufacturer must be able to provide valves to accord with other standards like API, DIN. Both technical documents and catalogs must meet the requirements of customers. As is known to all, inspection standards for exporting products are different from domestic inspection standards. For that, the technique must be improved furthermore.

China has also announced national standards for valves in succession like GB/T12252-89 Supplying and GB/T13927-92 Pressure Test. Some standards are compiled referring to or equivalent to ISO. However, other standards are based on domestic situation. Those standards having large difference with abroad standards cannot be considered as qualified standards. All of quotations of valves are based on GB Standards and industry standards, though the inspection is different.

At present, China's manufacturers can provide different kinds of valves. China valves quotation is mainly based on API, DIN or BS which caused by the requirements in market and innovation of technique.
