US is top among the international oil producer with an expected 12.1 million b/d this year. The oil productions are mainly referred to all oil liquid, including condensates.
In 2012, the US took the place of Russia to be the second oil supplier, while the first one is Saudi Arabia. Both the US and Saudi Arabia rise up their oil production, but US is with a rapider growth in 2013
There are high chances that US would be the leader of oil supply for many years. Though the US shale liquid growth rate may slow down in the coming few years, there is a forecast that the US can increase the leader position to 2020 and remain that position to 2030.
In 2013, US overtook Saudi Arabia to become the largest oil producer.Saudi Arabia oil production is 300,000 b/d , while the third placed Russia produced 1.6 million b/d.
The fourth and fifth ranked oil suppliers are respectively China and Canada. The following five placed are UAE, Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, and Mexico.
The crude production of US is 7.4 million b/d. It is less than that of Saudi Arabia and Russia which each has about additional 3 million b/d.
The US has rich other forms of energy supply, such as natural gas, biofuels and refinery gain. Refinery gain can test the ability of a refinery to optimize its output.
The main boom of all the oil production is shale oil. While Shale crude and condensate production is reached to 2.5 million b/d in 2013, accounting for over one third of total US crude production, shale NGL at 1.2 million b/d, proportional half of all NGLs.
Shale crude is witnessed 800,000b/d production growth this year and the shale NGL is expected 300,000 growth compared that with 2012.
The growth in US in 2013 is the same with the last year, which is a 1 million b/d supply. The result is that its growth rate is larger than that of the next nine following ranked countries combined. It has meet most of the world demand over the past two years.
