Kazakhstan's line C Gas Pipeline, belonging to the 1,833km long Central Asia-China Gas Pipeline network, will have more natural gas supply due to $ 17.5 M equipment and related services contract. The main gas power equipment and related service is supplied by the Rolls-Royce.

 

According to the contract, Rolls-Royce is responsible for making twelve RB211 gas turbine driven pipeline compressor units to AGP, which is a joint venture of Kazakhstan's KazMunaiGaz and China's National Petroleum Corporation(CNPC). The units will function at four major compressor stations.

 

Rolls-Royce has already supplied Eleven RB211 gas turbine pipeline compressor units to AGP in 2009. This added contract is the second time for the two companies to cooperate. Rolls-Royce will produce and package the devices at its Canada and American locations. 

 

The devices supplied by Rolls-Royce will allow China to have cleaner natural gas and help the KazMunaiGaz to meet its country's energy need. The on-time delivery and efficient technology is of vital importance due to the large scale and tight scheduled project. The advanced technology ensure the fitting quality, especially valves quality. And its good service has won this second support.
