For its rapid development and stable upward status,China's valves industry has become one of China's machinery industries, developing at a high speed.

Valves, as the foundation of foundry or the whole industries, play an part in promoting development of national economy. According to statistics from developed countries, output valves is the sum of economic benefits including compressors, fans and pumps, accounting for 5% of the whole machinery industry. At the same time, as key basis of equipments, valves paly an important role in industries such as metallurgy, petrochemical and power. In recent years, increasing investments in infrastructure projects bring large turning points to China'valves industry.

However, China' valves industry has the disadvantage which also exist in other machinery industries. Those disadvantages contain low technical content, single category and unstable quality.

China's valves industry is still developing. While the disadvantages such as lacking of core technology, without automation control and shorting of sophisticated management team caused the huge gap between foreign valves industry and China's valves industry. The following factors restrict the development of China's valves industry.
1. Shorting of technical innovative talents. Governments or corporations ignore training talents.
2. No breakthrough on technology
3. Gaps on quality control and equipments
4. Gaps on production flow.
