Valve Order Yantai Wanhua to China valmax

China valmax has signed a high value contract with Yantai Wanhua Polyurethanes Limited. According to the contract,  China valmax will supply pneumatic ball valves and butterfly valves which will be applied in the MDI integration project at the existing factory site and a new PO/AE project. This is the first time for the two companies to cooperate, and the total value of the investment is about $5 billion on the two huge projects.
 
China valmax valve is chosen by Yantai Wanhua Polyurethanes Limited  due to its strict standard of manufacturing, especially the minimum leakage class and low fugitive emission. 
 
The PO/AE integration project is focused on propane dehydrogenation, acrylate, and acrylic acid resin, propylene oxide and many others. China valmax  will supply various ball valves including X series, D series stemball valves, 9000 series flanged valves, S6 series metal seated high pressure valves, and the R-series V-port segment control valves. Material is also with the standard such as the WCB and CF8M grade to Hastelloy. But there are also some exceptions which based on the customers’ requirements.
 
The specific designed valves for the MDI project include 700, L6 Neldisc triple eccentric butterfly valves which are made to confirm the project unique requirement.

The Neldisc L6 series have two important components, that is a triple eccentric butterfly valve and a metal seat. A high precision elliptical disc and a chrome plated seat consist the structure of the trim. With a stainless clamp ring attached to the casting, the valve is easy to assemble and dismantle. The metal seats have the capacity of withstanding high pressure and temperature, thus the valve is with a more service life. Other advantages of it are that it allows a less abrasion between the sealing components, less operational delays and wear on sealing surfaces and lower valve torque when it is open. But when it is in the closing status, the sealing can be done by the elasticity of the valve seat. It is not necessary for the liquid to produce pressure, which means the sealing is with low pressure differential.
