An engineering firm is moving its producing operation location to Derby and investing a multi-million pound deal into the city.
Hydra-valve is focused in making valves for the pipeline technology. It has recruited dozens of new staffs, including fabricators, machinists and CNC machine operators.
In order to have rapider growth in the following years, the company is setting up a new factory in the city and moved Chesterfield subsidiary PMI to Derby.
Hydra-Valve technology can repair, maintain, and monitor pipes which carry water, gas and oil. And the whole process is without supply interrupted. This advantage is overwhelming important to utility and oil suppliers.
The firm has made a great achievement in serving water companies. It has replaced pipeline and valves while the water pressure is maintained and disruption is minimum, thus successful rendering the cooperation company to save millions of pounds.
The firm’s new technology of testing oil pipelines is experiencing checks to get official approval. It is planned to be used in practice in the coming weeks.
This new technology has benefited the firm a lot because some of the world’s largest companies which worth trillions of dollars have signed contracts with the company.
In total, the investment pumped into the Advanced Pressure Testing products equates to about ￡6 million.
Once the technology has been approved, there is a high chance that the firm would get a long development and have considerable revenues to Hydra-Valve and its branches.
The company is removed from the Scunthorpe location because it was rural and it is not helpful to recruit standard staffs they required.
The firm will have a heavy load of work due to it has become a supply partner of Balfour Beatty. And the operation moved to Derby is reasonable.
And an office is being set up in Dubai to have a presence at the heart of the world's oil industry.
Hydra-Valve's equipments can survey pipes without the need to stop the flow of oil.
This is the best achievement for the small family-run business firm and it is getting international inquiries every day. And a lot of revenues are waiting for the company. There will be a large-scale global launch of the new products.
