£1M contract For Castings Valves

Castings Valves opened its new £250,000 facility on Telford's Hortonwood Industrial Estate last summer, helping the Salford-based company to announce its turnover had doubled in February this year.
Casting Valves Company announced a double turnover in February this year after it opened its new £250,000 facility on Telford's Hortonwood Industrial Estate last summer.
Now the company has expanded its business, which is a £1 million contract to supply valves for the construction of eight new environmentally-friendly water treatments.
The new expansion will also means the increase in staff numbers, two staffs will be added including a sales engineer and an administrator. The total stuff will be 26, 8 in Telford.
The new deal is manly about the Casting Services Company and the firm Black and Veatch firm jointing to develop the project, of which the upgrading to infrastructure cost about around £1 billion.
The company set up a small valve division in Manchester, before it launched a bigger base in Telford last year. And it recent enters into clean water areas to expand its business in the gas industry to supply more valves.
The Company has got the valve resources from China, European, and Turkey. Each valve can weigh to six tones and measure 1,400mm across.
